Allow Sharing Posts and Albums with Selected Followers

Currently, Posts and Albums can either be shared publicly or kept private. It would be great to have a third privacy option that allows sharing content with a selected group of people. Suggested behavior: Add a new visibility option such as: 🌍 Public πŸ‘₯ Selected Followers πŸ”’ Private If Selected Followers is chosen, allow the creator to choose who can see the content. Possible implementations: Select individual followers from a list. (Even better) Create custom groups/lists (Family, Close Friends, Roleplay Friends, Team Members, etc.) and share with one or more of those groups. This permission should work for both: Posts Albums Why this matters Not every post is meant for the entire community, but many posts aren't truly private either. Examples include: Family photos Personal memories Behind-the-scenes content Roleplay stories shared only with participants WIP artwork or photography Event planning Content intended only for close friends Currently, the only choices are everyone or no one, which is limiting. A selective sharing option would make Primfeed feel much more personal and encourage users to post content they currently keep offline because they don't want it visible to everyone. Future enhancement If custom groups/lists were introduced, they could be reused across the platform for sharing Posts, Albums, Events, and future social features, making privacy management much easier.

Constructive feedback on moderation consistency

Primfeed i've written the following in hopes that is taken as constructive criticism. i think the platform and it's users would benefir from a clear, publicly available set of content guidelines that users and moderators can consistently follow and refer to. right now moderation is very confusing, bikini or nude photos of mine on a beach are removed, being told my avatar looks underage, while other photos from the same avatar depicting similar levels of nudity remain. from a users perspective its very difficult to understand the error on their part. consistency in moderation is important as the rules themselves. a transparent standard will help creators here know what is and isn't acceptable while also making moderation decisions feel more predictable and fair instead of subjective. i understand my interests aren't everyone's cup of tea, and i respect the moderators have a responsibility to keep the platform within LL's policies but at the same time needs to evolve with online culture which has changed considerably over the years. the egirl aesthetic i embody, which has become mainstream through popular online creators and influencers are now a common form of self-expression. wether or not everyone enjoys that aesthetic, i believe moderation should be based on clear, objective standards based on modern times, not objective individual standards, interpretation or personal taste. TLDR: looser moderation is not needed, just for there to be clearer more consistent application of it so creators here know what is expected of them.

Allow Albums as the Default Profile View

Currently, the Default profile view setting only allows choosing between Profile and Gallery. For users who organize their content into Albums, it would be very useful to have the ability to make an Album the landing page when someone visits their profile. Suggested behavior: Add Album as a third option in Default profile view. If Album is selected, display an additional setting: Which album? The user can then select one of their existing albums from a dropdown list. Visitors opening the profile would land directly on that album instead of the Profile or Gallery tabs. Why this matters Many creators use Albums as curated collections (brands, roleplay characters, photography portfolios, events, tutorials, etc.). A specific Album often represents their work much better than the complete Gallery. This would: Let creators showcase their best content immediately. Improve profile customization. Increase visibility and engagement for curated collections. Make Albums much more valuable as a portfolio feature. I think this would be a small UI change with a significant improvement for photographers, bloggers, brands, merchants, and anyone using Albums to organize their content.

Newbie seeking EasyBlogger & Primfeed experts insights!

My Twin (NejraTu Resident) and I have a small RP network in SL with a few playgrounds open to the public. We and three of the players in the network have stores they sell products from, which also pay distributions to the SSCRPG Network treasurer for the β€œPEF”, Play/er Enhancement Fundβ€” So, they’re all contributing to the SSCRPG Network, but doing their own thing on their own time, etc. MY QUESTIONS are: (1) Could we use the EasyBlogger for the SSCRPG Network and it’s members be the players who have their own stores, so they do the blog thing for their products as they relate to the SSCRPG Network and or PEF contributions? Or, because they each have their own store, the EasyBlogger is more intended that they each have one that they invite bloggers to write about their products for? (2) If we CAN use EasyBlogger for our RP Network and allow the players with stores to collectively share their indivudal works for SSCRPG Network related products, what would be the best way to set that up? I know we need at least the Pro Version as NejraTu and I are Co-Founders of the SSCRPG Network, but… neither of us have ever blogged before so, I don’t want to jump in blind, so to speak. Any added perspective would be appreciated!

Albums/Gallery Fluidity in full view

As I’m browsing my albums that I’m doing picture series in, I’m noticing it’s incredibly frustrating to view the whole series in tandem together in full view mode in browser. If the pictures are posted in their own post, it’s of course easy to arrow to each of them. But, if they are not posted together in the same post, but in the same album, you can not do this. You have to X out and click on another post and expand it to see it large again. This becomes a hassle when attempting to view in a continuous manner in full view mode. I would love if there was a continuity to keep browsing in full view with the arrows across multiple posts. Whether in the albums or gallery, both would be fantastic. I’d also love to see it easier to edit all the pictures at once (similar to flickr) in the albums. Moving pictures from there is kind of a hassle right now.

Recycle Bin for Deleted Photos (30-Day Recovery Period)

Currently, deleting photos on Primfeed is permanent and immediate. This creates a risk of accidental deletions and makes it impossible for users to recover content removed by mistake. I would like to suggest implementing a Recycle Bin / Trash system similar to other social media and cloud storage platforms. Suggested functionality: When a user deletes a photo, it is moved to a Recycle Bin instead of being permanently removed. Deleted items remain in the Recycle Bin for up to 30 days. Users can: Restore photos at any time during that period. Permanently delete individual photos immediately if desired. Empty the entire Recycle Bin manually. After 30 days, photos are automatically and permanently deleted. Benefits: Prevents accidental data loss. Gives users confidence when cleaning up galleries. Reduces support requests related to mistakenly deleted content. Optional enhancement: Display the number of days remaining before each item is permanently removed. Allow bulk restore and bulk permanent deletion actions. This feature would make gallery management safer and more user-friendly, especially for users with large photo collections.

Like the actual media instead of the complete post with multiple media

I have a small suggestion that I think would improve the user experience. When someone posts multiple photos in a single post (for example, three images), it would be nice if the ❀️ reaction could apply to each photo individually instead of automatically liking the entire set. There are times when I genuinely love one photo but don't necessarily want to react to all of them. It's definitely not a huge issue maybe it's just my brain being picky πŸ˜‚ but it always catches my attention when I click "like" on one image and it automatically hearts every photo in the post. I'd love the option to react to individual photos rather than the entire gallery.

Albums – Add the Ability to Tag Residents/Stores, Add Clickable Links & Improve Formatting

I have a suggestion for improving the album description area. Please allow all users the ability to add clickable links to album descriptions and to tag a Second Life resident or store. As a blogger, I would love the ability to add a link to my blog, for example, and to tag my sponsors so they can be easily identified and discovered. This feature would make albums more useful for bloggers, creators, businesses, and the wider Second Life community. Additionally, please allow line breaks and basic text formatting within album descriptions. Currently, all text appears as one continuous block across the page, making longer descriptions difficult to read. The ability to separate information into paragraphs would greatly improve readability and presentation.

Image-ordering issues.

Hello Primfeed Team, First, I want to say that I'm really enjoying the new Albums feature. It's a great addition to the platform. BUT, while using the new update, I've encountered what appear to be two separate image-ordering issues. Issue #1: Album images are not maintaining their intended order. When creating an album and arranging images in a specific sequence, the images do not always appear in the correct order after the album is published. The order I set before posting is not always the order displayed within the album. Issue #2: Multi-image feed posts display images in the wrong order This issue occurs outside of Albums. I recently posted three images directly to my feed in the following order: ~ Close-up image ~ Mid image ~ Full-body image After posting, the feed displayed them as: ~ Close-up image. ~ Full-body image. ~ Mid image. The second and third images were switched. I have attached screenshots showing: The intended upload order. https://gyazo.com/7e87015c0bfb4448442608b5f1d93b8c The order displayed after posting. https://gyazo.com/54c5e6871101b752029a79615376eb95 One additional detail: when viewing images using the arrow navigation, the images appear in the correct order. The issue seems to be with how the images are displayed on the feed gallery preview and, in some cases, within albums. Thank you for your time and for all the work being done on Primfeed. πŸ–€πŸ–€

Annual Primfeed Awards Idea - Get Behind This Friends :)

Hey, I know you may think the timing is tight but I honestly think it is perfect. I strongly recommend that you add some sort of Primfeed Awards to honor the anniversary with numerous categories for numerous winners to make people feel like we have a chance. I would include not only best type of photo for this or model for that, but also best storyteller/writer accolades for how people tell stories over multiple pics or within the comments tied to pics throughout their profile, whatever. I think people would be jazzed. Maybe your give winners trophies in world or plaques or even merely achknowdge them on Primfeed. Could do an awards show and have the top 3-5 in a category show up not knowing who wins dressed to the nines? Could go as big or small as you wish.
