Edit date & time of images/posts/products (for brand pages)

I think this will be a difficult one to consider. But now with the gallery update I would like to consider dropping Flickr completely and stick with just Primfeed. There's something holding me back, which is: I'd like to add my old photos/products to my Primfeed but have them appear in their original order - by editing their date - which is something Flickr actually allow us to do. I wouldn't wanna upload my older pictures/products and have them at the top of my feed and gallery, it would make a mess. My suggestion would be to have it just a little bit different than Flickr. There we can edit both dates - so I'd suggest that on Primfeed it could show both the date it was uploaded (which we wouldn't be able edit for moral reasons) and also show the date it was taken (which we would be able to edit), and actually have the feed show the posts on the feed/gallery on the order it was taken. Primfeed always gives people the choice to pick one or the other, but in this case (show in order by date taken or uploaded) I wouldn't like people to choose their own default, but the brand page to pick which the default for their own profiles individually, so they can have their brand be shown as they want it to be seen (which is why I'd also like the option for each brand page for default feed/gallery view to work like this). · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · So in summary: • Have brand pages be able to edit dates - could even be a PRO-only feature; • Pictures show both the date taken & date uploaded, if the date is the same then have it be shown just 1 - or maybe show just "date taken: xx xx xx" and the date uploaded upon hovering the mouse above it; • Not able to change the "date uploaded", just the "date taken"; • The feed/gallery show by default "by date taken" so it represents the brand like it's supposed to - or have the own brand pick which will be the default for their own page, not the users (but they would be able to temporarily change with the dropdown menu). · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · The other option would be to make it work exactly like it does on Flickr, but I think that won't align with Primfeed's vision - in any case here's a brief explaination of how it works there: It saves the date/time of upload as "date uploaded" and leaves "date taken" blank - in which we can edit both freely. By default the profile shows in order of "by uploaded", but there's the dropdown menu to change to "by taken" manually and I believe that setting is saved locally for that person on their browser only. The screenshots below are from Flickr options, just to illustrate. · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · Thank you for all the amazing work so far! 💖

"Quoted" Reposts revision

I've noticed recently that some people Repost others work but also add a quote or their own writing to go with it. While this is lovely that they want to share and bring attention to other artists work and support them, i feel that when they make their own quote with it, it seems unfair that the 'sharer' receives the Likes and not the original post. Perhaps there needs to be a revision where even if someone quotes or adds their own writing, only the original work will get the recognition and likes that they fairly deserve. I say this because also if someone new comments under the Re-post, it makes it difficult for the original artist to comment or reply if it's being redirected to someone elses Re-post. I feel that all likes and communications should go to the original image posted. It might be worth considering whether quoted reposts could work more like standard reposts, where any likes are still attributed to the original creator.

Removal of gallery permissions for repeat offenders

I think there should be a more severe punishment/correction for repeat offenders who post without regard of the TOS and rules of the site. Moderation mistakes happen, we've all done it. However I've seen a select few accounts who repeatedly post an adult or moderate image as general in order to get it seen by more people and once they've gotten the likes they want they correctly moderate it. This leaves users who use the mobile app at the whim of users who consistently break TOS for popularity. We don't want to be scrolling in public and accidentally see someone's completely nude photo or pornographic shots. Those posts are for private viewing. So what good are the content filters of G/M/A/A+ if posters aren't using them correctly? I think repeat offenders should be forbidden from posting to the Public Gallery for an extended amount of time dependent on the number of times they've violated the rules. Same goes for AI users. I keep seeing these accounts that claim they don't use AI posting AI pictures in the public gallery. They then complain about unfair treatment and favoritism or how they were picked on when in reality they broke the rules. I saw another site literally get made because someone was using AI here and got banned for it. So they made a new site, for AI posts. Maybe the AI posters should go over there instead of complaining over here? It's even wilderer that a large number of the accounts here claiming they would 'never use AI' are already on that site, posting AI images, admitting they are AI and then posting them here while laughing about moderation not being able to tell. The punishments should be more severe or people will continue to break the rules and put those of us who respect the site, its creators and its users in really uncomfortable situations.

Schedule Reposts in a Queue

Would it be possible to have a queue we can choose to add posts and reposts to (as another option alongside "Post" and "Schedule") that publishes them on a configurable schedule, and move reposts so that they are only shown to Followers? I would love to choose, for example, to be able to publish the 20 amazing art posts that I've just found, once an hour (or something similar) instead of having them all hit the Home page in the 20-30 minutes I happen to be using the site. This is a really useful feature on Tumblr, and it would be amazing to see it here. It would create a new role for site users as curators as well a creators, incentivising a different type of usage of the site alongside those producing their amazing posts. It would create a space for a type of creator that loves, for example, black and white artwork, and another that curates fashion/shopping posts of a particular style. Brands could curate images of people showing their products. And these people can build followings based on these niches.

Ability to filter accounts by moderation

I have noticed recently a large flux of accounts posting content incorrectly moderated and then later changing it to the correct moderation. I am not sure if this is being done purposefully to get their content 'seen' by more people or if it's one of those honest mistakes. But seeing as I am seeing it happen repeatedly by the same few accounts I can only assume it is being done on purpose. I like being able to check Primfeed while I am out and about but I do not like having to quickly turn off my phone screen because someone has posted nudes or sex photos labeled as general. I know the moderation team can only do so much. And while some people believe having sex posters in the background of a picture while THEY are clothed means it's a general image, that to me should still be a moderate/adult image. So, is there any way we can have the ability, ourselves, to label whole accounts as G/M/A/A+ based on the content they generally post and use THAT in our filters so we aren't accidentally staring at nudes in the middle of a grocery store or doctor's office or while talking to our children's daycare workers? (yes it happened, I was mortified)

Implement a discreet blocking system

when you block someone and they search for or visit your profile, they see a message indicating that they have been blocked. This can create discomfort, tension, or even toxic reactions, especially in situations where you’re simply looking for peace and privacy. My suggestion is that, instead of showing them that they’ve been blocked, they should simply stop seeing your content and lose access to interacting with you, without any explicit notification. A silent block. that the profile simply displays a very reduced version (without feed, photos, or activity) instead of an explicit notice This would better preserve privacy and avoid unnecessary confrontations, creating a safer and more discreet experience for those who need to protect their space.
