Why do I have to reload a new version for a webpage?

Feature Request

I keep getting to Primfeed and seeing a message that a new version is available and I should reload to get it. But I'm viewing a web page in a desktop web browser. Shouldn't the most current version be served to me automatically?

    Primfeed is a PWA (Progressive Web App), which allows it to load faster than a normal site while also letting you add a Primfeed app icon to your phone etc. Like any app, it requires updates.
