Search Post does not work

As far as I can tell, a majority of the results you get from searching posts are random. Just as an example, searching the random word "pirate," the 11th result is the only one that actually contains that word or even any word slightly similar. This has been the case for every word I have tried since Search post has been implemented.

    As suggested by @Tamara Silversten, try using the Exact terms option from the search and let me know if it helps.

    There is a tickbox for "Exact terms" you can toggle in order to only get matches for the word(s) you actually entered, without the typo forgiveness mechanic in play. That should get you all posts that actually contain the word "pirate".

    How thematically appropriate the results may be depends on the contents of course. There may be a SLURL pointing to a place with pirate in the name, without any pirates being depicted in the picture for example.

    You could try looking for terms with a hashtag in front, such as #pirate. That would only find posts where people decided to tag their post for relating to pirates.
