Profile posts placed in gallery

I clicked on my gallery tab yesterday and saw the photos I only uploaded to my profile, in there. Why are profile posts with pictures being shoved into the gallery when I chose not to put them in public gallery? I only want to have my vendor ads in the gallery tab.
