Option to open profiles in a new tab

It looks like outside links work just fine, I tested with the link Luke posted for this feedback page. But for profiles I can't scroll click / right click>open in new tab - at a later time I did realize I can open posts doing this by clicking the date/hour below the name of the person who posted it, before I was trying to do it by clicking the picture itself). Also if I left-click a picture to open it and check it out, when I click the "x" to close the pic the feed goes back to the top, so I lose how much I scrolled down the feed to keep going from where I stopped.
