Older posts are losing their comments

Recently I've been finding that my older posts show a comment count of "1" but none are showing up. These are posts that at the time I recalled having a fairly decent engagement, some even showcased in blogs. I go back to read those comments, refresh my memory, and … nothing.

Example: https://prmfd.co/p/6MDXtG3QVqK1 "H.A.M. - Morning Coffee" was featured in Serenity Kristan's "Sexiest P***stars" blog, as well as reposted by others. The discussions on those events are just gone.

Any idea what's going on here? Almost looks like something got shifted in a database someplace and now the pointer's lost track of the records.

    A lot of reason can happen of why comments disappears: original comment being deleted, the user being banned, they deleted their account, or the account blocking you

    I don’t think there is an issue with the system… but please feel free to open a new feedback if that’s the case

    I specifically remember Scalli commenting on this when it was first posted, as he does with a lot of photos. (The guy loves his Primfeed, and the ladies on it.) If you look at that post now? nada. zip. zero.

    Others are also creating bugs wrt comment functions dying (can't open replies, submitting a reply makes comments vanish, etc). This points to a more endemic issue with the comment system.
