Notifications don’t work properly after the last update

After this update I stopped seeing notifications on the icons. I mean lil red numbers on the notification icon when we are at another tab. Sometimes it appears but rare. I see that I get more likes on the post but I don’t see lil red number above notification icon. I tried on the computer and on phone. It is the same
