Notification Bell

Before, when you have new notifications, you clicked the bell, it brough up the page that showed what notifications you had and the number of notifications beside the bell disappeared. Now, you have to click each and every notification before the number disappears, which is pretty tedious, when you have quite a lot to go through.

Any chance this could be looked at and perhaps reverted to the previous change or have an option to switch between.
