As it stands, only Ads have to indicate if their image is AI or outside of SL rendered, however, I have seen I am not alone in wanting full disclosure and control over what I see in my feed. Therefore, I suggest:
Can all image posts have a "media" section with radio buttons that correspond with an icon that will join the post (like the maturity ratings) but for the type of media used to create the image?
EXAMPLE: (select all that apply)
SL, for Second Life photographed images
AI, for AI rendered images
Other, for images rendered outside of SL, but not by AI
EAI, for images enhanced by AI, not created by AI
Edited, for images enhanced in editing software but not by AI
When the image posts, the viewers see what media was selected, be it only the SL icon or the SL icon with the Edited icon… or the SL and EAI icons… hopefully you get the idea.
Then, for those who want to see it all, they can, and those who only want to see SL works can go into settings where those icon buttons are read as filters folks can disable or enable seeing content that includes it.
EXAMPLE:
ENABLE/DISABLE MEDIA CONTENT
SL photographed content - enable/disable
AI rendered content - enable/disable
Other rendered content that is not AI or SL - enable/disable
Enhanced by AI content - enable/disable
Edited content that doesn't use AI - enable/disable
Hope this helps.
