Second Life residents have for a while now been increasingly feeling that Creators are an elite class of people. People feel that creating is strictly for professionals and has no Hobby value.
There was a time when Second Life was not banned on Twitch, and creators used to live stream whatever they were making, other residents could watch real people create in real time and see the human aspect of creating, and maybe be inspired to create themselves.
I think it would be great for creators to have a space where they come together with residents and share in the creation process live, thus teaching and inspiring a new generation of creators would provide excellent value for the platform, both for the residents and creators.
Whilst it is true that other live streaming platforms exist, Primfeed is uniquely positioned in that Second Life videos are gaurunteed to always find their way to Second Life residents, which cannot be said for elsewhere.
Ultimately whilst it would be a big endeavour, it could be used to help get more people involved in Second Life. It would also help Primfeed be seen for more than just a place bloggers come to sell you things, but a place to be social and engage.
