I know not everyone likes GIFs, but having the ability to add them to comments will make the platform feel more like 'normal social media'. Could be a cool add on! :)
What would be really cool for me is if PF could just auto-embed (or natively embed) gif links from gyazo.

This'll be super helpful for me, I take animation commissions and not being able to show my work without linking it to another website doesn't help much. I could easily use GIFs for this, especially if I want to show in-progress anims from my own shop!

While I like the concept, my concern is that Primfeed will simply become a meme gallery. I don't know if there's any practical way to do so, but if there is, some way to make it so that only SL GIFs could be used?

Luke Rowley- I was thinking of the animated GIFs that are quite popular to use as a comment on Facebook, Xitter, etc.
That said, I don't see any practical way to code it to detect whether or not a GIF originated in SL or not. For that matter I don't think it's possible to detect that for any kind of still image or video clip.

Great idea! I think we should have the option to use GIFs not only as stickers in comments but also as profile banners, similar to Discord. It would be awesome if the maximum size could be 30 MB instead of just 10 MB like on Discord.
