This was a temporary bug, yes. However, there is an actual limit now on likes per 24 hours.
Why? Because some accounts use bots to automatically likes posts, and I don't want that for Primfeed. 500 likes per day seems like a very reasonable limit for a human, without leaving a like just to be seen.

Luke Rowley In my opinion that defeats the purpose then of having an infinite scroll, when I have free time, I just scroll and I like posts and interact with people, in 24hours it is pretty easy to like 500 pictures. You have 11.000+ users on Primfeed who post all the time. 500 pictures is nothing.

Luke Rowley This feature feels restrictive to those who 'brain rot' to content online (examples: instagram, twitter, tiktok). I scroll, now using the infinite feature as a way to pass the time- and in that time of an hour with how much is uploaded, 500 is not enough.

I have the same issue, on Facebook I got the reply that it was a bug and should work again, but after a few likes I got the error again. Please fix because there is no use for infinite scroll if we cannot like posts…

Fae Waifu Same here, it's also unclear to me if the whole thing is a glitch or this is an actual limit? I don't see the point in limiting likes, that's why pics are being shared in the gallery…
