I’d like to see PrimFeed give users the option to designate their account as a child-avatar or child-roleplay account, with a visible tag. Once designated, those accounts would only be able to view and interact with General-rated (G) content, keeping 18+ posts off limits.
For those of us who aren’t involved in child-avatar RP, there should also be an optional filter that works both ways. We wouldn’t see those accounts or related content in our feeds and recommendations, including child-avatar store items and ads. They also wouldn’t be able to view our profiles or posts, like, comment, follow, or message us.
Second Life already doesn’t allow child avatars in Adult-rated regions, so I’d like to see a similar boundary here. My posts can be 18+, and I’m not comfortable with child-avatar accounts interacting with that content. Other people may feel the same way and should have the option to set that boundary too.
The tag is about the avatar and the roleplay, not the person’s real age. People can enjoy their RP, and those of us who don’t want to be involved can keep it separate without having to block every account individually.
