Not just stores, but (not shopping event) venues and communities as well. Stores are not the only type of location to visit in SL, and it would be really nice if there was a way for us to promote our places too. Not just store ads being able to be in the Galley. How about an ads-only gallery that features stores, shopping events, club events, live music events, art galleries, and communities? Maybe being able to filter that by type?

I believe both account type and post type should be back end changes that would provide for future features that are account/post based as well.
It would allow individuals the opportunity to define how they want content to be displayed to them or how they want their own content to be seen updated and by who based on these two.

This would be wonderful for those of us without stores but who want to keep things more organized as well. I run an informational SL blog that I would love to share articles from. I also participate in a lot of unrelated activities in SL that I'd enjoy sharing too.
Being able to keep those easily sectioned off so people with interest in one or not the other could choose what they see on my profile would be so nice.
