Currently, Posts and Albums can either be shared publicly or kept private. It would be great to have a third privacy option that allows sharing content with a selected group of people.
Suggested behavior:
Add a new visibility option such as:
π Public
π₯ Selected Followers
π Private
If Selected Followers is chosen, allow the creator to choose who can see the content.
Possible implementations:
Select individual followers from a list.
(Even better) Create custom groups/lists (Family, Close Friends, Roleplay Friends, Team Members, etc.) and share with one or more of those groups.
This permission should work for both:
Posts
Albums
Why this matters
Not every post is meant for the entire community, but many posts aren't truly private either.
Examples include:
Family photos
Personal memories
Behind-the-scenes content
Roleplay stories shared only with participants
WIP artwork or photography
Event planning
Content intended only for close friends
Currently, the only choices are everyone or no one, which is limiting.
A selective sharing option would make Primfeed feel much more personal and encourage users to post content they currently keep offline because they don't want it visible to everyone.
Future enhancement
If custom groups/lists were introduced, they could be reused across the platform for sharing Posts, Albums, Events, and future social features, making privacy management much easier.
