Would it be possible to have a queue we can choose to add posts and reposts to (as another option alongside "Post" and "Schedule") that publishes them on a configurable schedule, and move reposts so that they are only shown to Followers?

I would love to choose, for example, to be able to publish the 20 amazing art posts that I've just found, once an hour (or something similar) instead of having them all hit the Home page in the 20-30 minutes I happen to be using the site.

This is a really useful feature on Tumblr, and it would be amazing to see it here. It would create a new role for site users as curators as well a creators, incentivising a different type of usage of the site alongside those producing their amazing posts.

It would create a space for a type of creator that loves, for example, black and white artwork, and another that curates fashion/shopping posts of a particular style. Brands could curate images of people showing their products. And these people can build followings based on these niches.
