As we know, Primfeed is a social media platform for Second Life users. And, as we also know, social media is the biggest thing since sliced pizza. One of the core things I look for and enjoy in social media, is the ability to develop my own code and apps for them, so that I can branch out what I post, or automate simple things.

I don't think we need all of that on Primfeed, but it would be really cool to have the ability to, say, push the things I post on Primfeed to Mastodon, or Tumblr, or Bluesky, and that would be really easy with an RSS feed or even API keys. One of the things that kind of stops me from posting more frequently, is that I'm posting in a vacuum, and I keep feeling like, "I have a Mastodon and a Bluesky account, so why post here?" But that question would happen a lot less if it wasn't so closed-off, and undiscoverable to the outside world.

Just my two cents. RSS feeds are magic, API keys are nice to have, too, but not entirely necessary. If anything, I'd like the ability to embed my profile onto my website, or anywhere, for that matter.
