I've noticed recently that some people Repost others work but also add a quote or their own writing to go with it. While this is lovely that they want to share and bring attention to other artists work and support them, i feel that when they make their own quote with it, it seems unfair that the 'sharer' receives the Likes and not the original post.

Perhaps there needs to be a revision where even if someone quotes or adds their own writing, only the original work will get the recognition and likes that they fairly deserve. I say this because also if someone new comments under the Re-post, it makes it difficult for the original artist to comment or reply if it's being redirected to someone elses Re-post.

I feel that all likes and communications should go to the original image posted. It might be worth considering whether quoted reposts could work more like standard reposts, where any likes are still attributed to the original creator.
