When re-posting or sharing other users' posts, can the likes/interactions/comments go towards the original author similar to Twitter/X method?
Engagement for the original post is lost/split due to the current method with some shared posts receiving more Likes than the original author.

Definitely would prefer this. When I share things, I want the likes to add to the original post, not my shared post. Keep the like button on shared posts, but have it add to the total of the original. Original poster being able to see shares would also be invaluable to read comments on shared posts.

When I share someone's else post/work, that feature seems to garner attention to my profile vs the original. I don't mind but it defeats the purpose, a little bit. I'm sure the team at Primfeed will address that in the best manner.
*Suggestion:
- Adding a highlighted/Neon border around the original post/message.
- Highlighting the "like" and "share" button/icons on the original post/message.
- Adding a display note, such as: " see the original post below".
