Graphic/video enabled event calendars and event management with description, itemized performance list by hour, location (slurl), Facebook integration with events and also SL integration. Adding my upvote for an events feed (and a well curated one that does not allow e.g. advertisements for land rentals or generic store advertisements, and maybe a toggle for multi-day store events vs live events like boat races or DJ sets).
I maintain my own personal Google calendar of events I'd like to attend, especially to follow other DJs whose sets I enjoy. The default way to follow a DJ whose work you like or to make sure you don't miss a store's sale is to join their in-world group, and we all know how quickly those slots fill up even with Premium.
Having something like that available via Primfeed would be great, especially if it could be free of keyword spam (I just tabbed to the official community SL events page and the first event listed is " zooby legacy babies and zooby animesh strollers and pram new room deco window frames" with an event description "miepon animals nice nursery nice deco heart wall deco photo frames hot air balloons miepon machine deer stuffed animal cat lamp photo frames ball pitt swim pool my little ponys sun cloud wall deco with rain drops little." Sounds like a wall to wall party, sad to miss it!)

Currently per the TOS, events are not allowed to post to the Public Gallery.
The only way for events to become discovered is though "Discovery" tab - which is arguably an inerior way to discover new people/products/events. Gallery View offers so many pictures in one continuous feed, while Discovery feels like a chore to get through.
Could we have gallery types?
1) Avatar Photography
2) Product/Adverts
3) Events/News/Updates/Giveaways

Right now we can't post Event ads to Public Gallery. I understand, there are too many, it would flood the gallery with ads, which is not the point of the platform. However, what if we had a separate tab for Events? It could be a nice way for people find out things to do in SL, and for club owners to advertise their businesses here as shop owners do.

Hi Jy, Luke does have plans for events but it will likely be a separate Event section rather than using the gallery.

I posted an event teaser today and it was immediately removed from the gallery (didn't realize this was against the TOS) so I would love for there to be some sort of feature where we could advertise events/invite people to them. It's difficult for people to see things if it can't be posted to the gallery and it's by "word of mouth" only!

Primfeed's public gallery currently allows store ads, but event ads are restricted, meaning event organizers are being limited in what we can share, and to whom. Please consider opening it up to allow event ads to be posted to the public gallery so events can also be seen by everyone the way store owners content can.

however, i think a tab in the gallery for now wouldnt take a major programming effort, cause its a matter of adding a new category to the ones they already have.

Hi Grant,
Luke has always planned to integrate social events into PF, but I believe he intends to create a dedicated Event section. This will allow for event-specific features to be added. Thanks for being patient!
