Allow Creation of Recurring Events

Many events recur weekly or biweekly. It would save a LOT of work to be able to post once and create a number of recurrences, which shouldn't be unlimited. Two other platforms with which I am familiar allow up to 12. If there is some reason not to allow this, can we at least have the ability to duplicate events?
