The option under settings for "hide reposts" does not work when viewing user profiles. This may or may not be intentional.

However, since I have switched to using PF from Flickr for getting info about new products from brands, viewing the profile of the brand often leads to frustration when the creator reposts a lot of content which features their products. This is understandable, but from a user perspective very unhelpful if my reason for viewing their profile was to see their original content, announcements, etc. I'm not interested in seeing hundreds of posts of people using their content.

Instead, add an option when viewing a user's profile (above the main feed area) to "hide reposts" (this may or may not be persistent), which will hide reposts from this user's feed.
