Ability to "replace" a photo
planned

If I want to make a small edit - that perhaps I notice later on - I can replace the photo, without losing the favorites/comments etc.

Very excited to see it's planned! Boy I love that feature! xx

Oh yes please, I am someone who edits a lot my pictures to make them better or to fix something that i haven't seen, the overall visual can also sometimes give a false impression at first sight of what it actually is, like a bad shadow for example, that we don't pay attention to and that we the next day or 3 days later.. I use it a lot on Flickr. Thanks to plan it!

I agree...it would be really good if we could edit or add photos in case we made a mistake while posting

While I see the benefit for small editing situation... I wonder if this was implemented, how Primfeed could prevent an abusive senario - where poster posts something, gain a lot of reactions, and then poster changes not only a small parts but the entire content and message of the post? Could the edited post go through some kind of moderation to prevent this abusive usecase?
I would be scared to like or repost anymore if the meaing of my response could potentially change without me knowing. Thinking that this worse case senario can heppen anytime, I can no longer trust my likes or reposts represent my choices.
So... if this were to be implemented, may I get some kind of notification for edited posts that I previously liked or reposted? (I know this is can mean adding a lot of system overhead) --- So I can at least review and posibly change my reactions in case the content or message changed drastically?

Otoa Kiyori Personally I'm not too worried about it, flickr has had this ability since forever and I can't remember a single time it's caused an issue. I have faith in us! Probably misguided but ... still :D

Ginger Cloud You're right! It would bring more good to the user by allowing edit more than worrying about it (until someone actually cause some harm, and they will just lose thier followers/repulation anyways) What was I thinking!! 😆

Ginger Cloud Yeah, hopefully it would go just as well here as it does on Flickr, and if somebody would attempt to use it in a malicious manner, it would be visible to the staff that a replacement has been done when reported for the content.
I use Flickr's replace feature quite frequently to fix some error I overlooked or to fix the vibrancy of the colors if it turns out to look too harsh to me still after some rest. It can be difficult to tell with my photo-sensitivity and how tired my eyes are after a lot of work.

I agree to this 100% It's NOT fair if you delete a photo you've shared with the gallery by mistake, you're penalized that you can't upload if you're capped. Also, PLEASE add the time stamp for the 24hr photo warning.
t's super frustrating to have set a timer everyday when you can post, and then get the error "Oh because you posted a photo, deleted it, now you can't upload X amount of photos to the gallery" when we've literally waited the 24 hours.

I'd hope that anyone who had liked or commented on the original image would be notified if there was any change to the post. If someone improves their image, it'd be nice for anyone who had interacted with it prior to know to revisit it. Conversely, if someone replaced the image with something that changed the context of the post, it would be good to be aware of that as well.
