The right third of my page is wasted.

I don’t have any events (nor want any). This right hand pane is therefore empty. This is if I look at my profile, others profiles, or the Primfeed profile where I got the link to the feedback page. This would be fine if I had something in that pane but as i don’t, why not make it optional so the picture in the main column could be bigger? A third of the page being empty seems inefficient.
